Black Badge has done much to attract a new generation of Rolls-Royce customers to the marque. As a result of overwhelmingly positive customer demand for Ghost Black Badge and Wraith Black Badge, the time is now right to add a new chapter to the Black Badge story.
Multiple layers of black fabric fold away to reveal a deck lid covered in black leather. Threads of aircraft-grade aluminum are woven into carbon fiber and formed into a new material for interior trim. Engineers have enhanced Dawns 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine in order to draw out 30 more horsepower and 15 more lb-ft of torque. This results in a total output of 593 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque.
When creating Black Badges, the marques Bespoke designers and engineers drew upon their instinctive understanding of the unique lives of these extraordinary men and women to create both design and engineering treatments that perfectly amplify the inherent values of these great Rolls-Royces.
Black Badge Dawns muscular prowess hints at the power that lies within. Carbon fibre composite wheels form a halo around the self-righting Rolls-Royce emblem. The Dawns steering has also been quickened, the transmission settings have been remapped and the brakes are now larger.
Enhanced torque, refined suspension and an optional sports exhaust deliver a more spirited driving experience. The engineers have also retuned the eight-speed automatic to produce quicker downshifts, while also adding beefier brakes. In addition, Rolls-Royce gave this version of the Dawn a quicker steering setup, one that will be heavier at speed.
The Spirit of Ecstasy, now black as the shadows, guides you forth. Choose the blackest of blacks, or realise your own colourful vision. This bold, edgy design ethos extends beautifully into the interior an exquisitely appointed staging point for patrons who seek to discover the nights elements with the roof down.
