Used 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

A special letter from General Motors on 1990 Competition Yellow Corvettes makes any yellow 1990 unusual but only 23 ZR1s were built in Competition Yellow making is extremely rare. The letter states the color had a photosensitivity characteristic (the color would change in the sunlight and then change back within 24 hours).

General Motors position was stated in their letter, "if this condition is unacceptable to you, we recommend that you purchase your Corvette in a different color". This may explain why so few yellow 90 ZR1s were built. But perhaps just as unusual on the bottom of the factory window sticker where it would show the name of the original Chevrolet Dealer that ordered the car, this yellow 1990 ZR1 shows: Dealer to whom Delivered - Chevrolet Central Office 30007 Van Dyke Warren, Michigan 48090. This ZR1 was ordered by the factory. This 1990 ZR1 is a true collectable based on rarity of color, Unusual factory letter and the fact that it was a Central Office Production Order. This ZR1 featured in the Kerbeck Heritage Collection.
